Company Profile

We are a husband and wife, home based computer repair company dedicated to answering all of your questions concerning computer technology.

We strongly encourage that we sit down and talk before investing any money in repairing your computer equipment or purchasing new equipment.

For our small businesses we will remove the anxiety you may experience with your PC and provide a safety net to keep you productive. We continue to educate our customers in the ever changing world of technology to empower you to protect your data and your productivity.

Our company was formed in 2000 as a sole proprietorship and we have over 10 year of hands on experience in PC repairs.

In 2003 we formed our online store to meet the demands of computer technology. also in that year we started to design web sites to assist small to medium businesses in having an online presence.

Sherri has excelled in developing excellent graphic arts skills and was instrumental in the development of Diamond Lils of Manteca's web art. She was also an intricate part of developing flyers, post cards and mass mailers for candidates running for public office in the 2004 election.

We continue to contemplate opening up a brick and mortar store but feel our prices would be out of reach of most computer users and we would end up like most other computer repair shops - High labor rates; slow turn around time; and not in touch with your issues. My first experiences with computers

Date back to 1984 when my father purchased a TRS-80 computer. You had to use a cassette tape recorder to save your work. I learned a lot about how to use BASIC but it didn't offer very many user friendly programs. I must admit I didn't see much value in them.

In 1992, for about $3,000 I purchased a 386 PC and I was so excited to put my investment to work. I had been away from the PC for about 7 years so I wasn't aware of the advancement in operating system. After playing around with it for about 20 minutes

I deleted a critical Windows system file and found my computer at the mercy of a co-worker who knew about DOS and Windows. About 3 hours later he was able to restore the file and OS. Needless to say I was afraid to even touch my PC and it was then when I realized the importance of learning everything I could about my PC so I could help myself repair my PC.

There have been many times we have witnessed, in this industry, half-truths, fraud, and down right bait and switch tactics prayed upon those who do not understand the PC or do not wish to learn the intricacies of computing - their only desire is to be productive. This is why RCS was formed.
